Known as the "silent killer,” ovarian cancer is the most deadly of all women's reproductive cancers. Only 15% of women are familiar with the symptoms, and 82% have never talked to their doctors about the risk factors.* Yet, more than 23,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer this year, and more than 16,000 will die from the disease. If caught in the early stages, the five-year survival rate is 90%, however, 75% of women are diagnosed in the advanced stages when prognosis is poor.**
