Rated 2 out of 5 by from PLEASE! Bring back Hydrate Lite About 10 years ago I started out using the Hydrate shampoo and conditioner on the recommendation from my hair stylist. I spent a lot of time in a swimming pool and the chlorine dried my hair and scalp. The Hydrate products were the perfect solution. As my time in swimming pools decreased and as my hair grew thinner, the Hydrate conditioner was a little too heavy. I discovered that there was a Lite version and was thrilled that it gave me just the amount of conditioning I needed. If I had known that it was going to be replaced with this Sheer version, I would have bought several gallons of the Lite. Sheer leaves my hair feeling like it has a waxy coating; my hair doesn't feel clean. I've used it for a couple of months now; it DOES NOT GIVE THE SAME Result. I found I still had a little bit of the Hydrate Lite in my 3-ounce travel bottles so I was able to use it again. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! My hair felt clean, light and soft again. Totally conditioned and totally touchable and not weighed down. No waxy feeling. I hope I can find another brand that does for my hair what Hydrate Lite used to do. It's silly that I have to go looking for something else when I already had the perfect conditioner. Judging from the majority of the comments, apparently, I'm not the only person that feels this way.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing...No Hydration I had previously tried Pureology Strength Cure after a hairdresser completely fried my hair and I loved it. Could tell a difference after 1st wash. Now that my hair has regrown and felt better I would try Hydrate Sheer. I choose this over Hydrate because my hair felt healthy but needed a lil something and figured Hydrate would be too heavy. Now I wish I would have just bought it. After the 1st wash with Hyrdate Sheer, my hair felt dry. I thought my hair would get used to it and would feel hydrate after a few more wash. Wrong! My hair continued to get drier and straw-like. This product makes my hair extremely dry and frizzy, so much that It looks very poofy. My son's drug store conditioner feels better than this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from THIS IS OFFENSIVE I've been a die hard hydrate light conditioner fan for the last 8 years. When I found out they were discontinuing it I ran out and bought 2 Liters that have lasted me an entire year, but now I am at the end of my last bottle. Tried this "new and improved" conditioner and absolutely hated everything about it. Made my hair tangly, gunky, and frizzy. Judging from all the other horrible reviews this conditioner has I am BEGGING you pureology to bring back the original!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This was my first time trying Pureology, and I have to say it definitely was not worth the money. I have fine, but thick color treated hair. It left my hair feeling dry, and at the same time it feels weird - like it is greasy, gummy, whatever you want to call it - and makes it tangle like crazy! Incredibly disappointed.. definitely going back to drug store shampoo and conditioner, I don’t even think I will finish using this shampoo and conditioner. Waste of money in my opinion, if I could give it negative stars I would.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Static City! Not for my chemically treated fine hair. Leaves hair dry and full of static! I rarely have static but every time I use this I get the same awful results. I really miss the discontinued Hydrate Light as regular is too heavy. The matching shampoo is OK but there is nothing hydrating about the Sheer Conditioner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed If I can give this product no star I will! Where the heck is the hydrate? It made my hair sooooooo dry! I would love to return the shampoo and conditioner I got but I will have to pay "my own shipping "waste of money DO NOT BUY

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where's the 'Hydrate'?? I have used Hydrate Lite for years. Hydrate is nice, but just too heavy, the Lite was perfect. I was surprised when they discontinued it and switched to the Sheer - why change a good thing? But, I was out of the Lite. I read the negative reviews, but decided I would try it. I tried it several times to give it a fair try. It makes my hair feel like straw when putting it on. It makes it tougher to pull a brush thru my hair. After its dry, it feels on the dry side. Every 3rd wash, I need to hydrate with a different hydrate/revitalizer conditioner - and I never needed to do that with Hydrate Lite. Don't know why Pureology changed a perfectly fine thing. I really hope they will bring back Hydrate Lite!!!!!
